Integrated development and LEADERSHIP LEARNING
I was teaching leadership theory in courses to undergrads who called me “Professor Trentham” and then a handful of those same students called me “Chaili” when we walked out of the classroom because they were on my team at work. It was the perfect case study, an experiment in the ways we develop our teams through learning and development with authentic connection and a dose of vulnerability and bravery.
Now, I use that integrated program + curriculum design experience to build out meaningful whole leader development programs for teams in organizations. The blend of personal and professional learning & development in teams is a whole-person approach.
And it works. Teams want to be more authentic, brave, and creative in their roles and everyone wants to know that their individualized leadership matters. Let’s make space for more of that to happen with an emphasis on employee engagement and work-life integration on the way educating and challenging our leaders.
